Mason Jar Caramel Brownie Trifles

These caramel brownie trifles are decadent. These are incredibly easy to prepare, and they’re portable. The perfect ending to a picnic, or a delicious way to spoil yourself or your guests.

The trifles are made by layering brownies, salted caramel sauce, chocolate pudding, whipped cream, and crushed Heath bars. They’re best when made in advance so that the brownies have time to soak up the caramel sauce.

Here's what you'll need

1 box fudge brownie mix
¼ cup coffee, room temperature
1 jar caramel sauce
Sea salt
6 snack cups of prepared chocolate pudding
1 carton whipped topping
3 Heath chocolate toffee bars, crushed
8 jelly-size mason jars

Here's what you'll do

Prepare the brownie mix as directed (substituting coffee for the water)

Bake brownie mix as directed on the box usually at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes (do not over bake).

Cool then cut into ¾-inch pieces.

Place a few  brownie pieces in the bottom of the jar.

Drizzle caramel sauce over the brownies pieces.

Sprinkle a very small pinch of sea salt.

Add  layers of chocolate pudding, whipped cream, and some crushed Heath bar to each trifle.

Drizzle the top of each trifle with some caramel sauce and a sprinkling of crushed Heath bar to finish it off.

Refrigerate until you're ready to serve.
